Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hangman – Word Rescue ("the App"), provided by Fahreddin Sevindir ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

2. Account

The App creates an anonymous account automatically on first launch. You may optionally link a Google or Apple account for multiplayer features and cross-device progress. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

3. Virtual Currency & In-App Purchases

Coins are a virtual in-game currency with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or traded.
Premium (Ad-Free) is a one-time non-consumable purchase that removes advertisements. It is tied to your App Store or Google Play account and can be restored on any device signed in with the same account via Settings → Restore Purchases.
All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the refund policies of Apple or Google.
We reserve the right to change the pricing of in-app purchases at any time with advance notice where required by law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use cheats, bots, exploits, automation software, or any unauthorised third-party tools.
Attempt to manipulate game outcomes, leaderboards, or coin balances.
Transmit any unlawful, offensive, or abusive content.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or other users' accounts.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including graphics, animations, sounds, code, word lists, and design — is owned by or licensed to Fahreddin Sevindir and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Apple App Store, and Google Play. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, over which we have no control.

7. Advertisements

The free version of the App displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Purchasing the Premium upgrade removes all ads. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, coins, or game progress.

10. Changes to the App or Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Turkey, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
